Long hiatus coming soon....

Sorry guys. I will be going for a holiday. A time to rest after 1 year of working nonstop. Can you imagine that? After 1 year only I get my very own rest. Why?

Well, after the semester started last year, I worked nonstop throughout the semester. Even after the 2nd semester final, I need to start doing my third year project... That project goes on until the beginning of the 2007 first semester. Of course there is some small holidays with my aunts and some parties, but not something I did for myself and I died to go.

Now, after my final paper of this semester, I need to continue doing a poster for the conference that will be held in Adelaide. I am very tired... I need to get away from these, I need a runaway. So I reckon Sydney is a good hideout!

I am sorry to those who keep track on my blog, but this poor guy need a rest from all these. He need a day where he does not need to worry about his works, and he can play from dust to dawn, or maybe early morning!

To those who are eager to see my new blog layout, you will need to wait for awhile. I have no more strength to do such thing. Thanks to Sookie who helped me a lot! I will die without your helps!!!! Thanks

Ciao, till next time.

New Blog Banner Survey

Food for the Day: Mee Jawa
Thanks to Sookie, now I have more versions of this Possy me picture... Are you people going to choose again? Please say yes.
Anyway, with the current technology and htmls, I can, not only post one up by banner, but all six of them!!!!!!!!

All hail Sookie, my lucky star!!!!! Okay, better stop praising her that much, she will fly later. Now as I was saying, I can post all of them up. And when you people come into my blog, random version of this picture will pop out as the Blog Banner!!!!!! OOOOOOOhhhh I can't wait to see the outcome of this blog!!!!

So you people can stop cracking your head on choosing which is the best. Too me they are well edited. hehehehhe. Yep, edited.
Notice the difference between a 2 days beginner and a professional......

Blog Banner Survey

Okay, I am undecided on which picture should I use as the banner for my new blog. And I really need you people's help. So stop playing with my panda for awhile, and help me in choosing which one should I use as the blog banner.
I have play around this picture with Photoshop, using my lousy Photoshop knowledge.
The first picture is the one with colour pencil sketching on the background, while I remained fair and smooth! HeheheeThe second picture is pencil sketching of me, with colourful background!!!!!
The big problem now is, I DON'T know which to choose.... I love both of them.... Need your voice to determine which one will be up the blog.

This survey will be up until 21st of June, where I will count the ballots. hehehehe.
Number 1 or Number 2 ?

PS: Everyone can vote! No matter you just bum into my blog out of curiosity or coming here with inconspicuous mode... I know whether you people came in and vote or not, I have extreme Tracking! hahaha. So please do give out your opinion.
You can post them over the comment box or Crapbox. Ta!

Religions

Food of the Day: Belacan Fried Mantis Prawn (Lai Lui Har)

If you looked carefully, I had a lot of foods that I wanted to eat that is in Belacan. Yes, I LOVE Belacan so that much. Besides most of the good Penang foods has some Belacan in it. It is either a love it or hate relationship: Westerner might find it unbearable, just like durian; but personally, it's fragrant is top notch!

Okay okay, I have 10 mintues left, before I need to return to my studies.... Low life ay?.... Recently, I refuged back to my aunt house for the weekend, after my Bioactive final exam. WHY? Heaps of people asked me that, since I still have two more papers, one is at TOMORROW.... Yet, I am writing this blog..... Oh, back to the main point, I went back to city because Dalai Lama came to Melbourne!!!!

My aunt who is a benefactor forDalai Lama, so I get to go to see him close-up. Okay, reach city on Friday, but I only went to the teaching on Saturday. When I stepped in the Rod Laver Avenue stadium, what I saw surprised me.

Before saying what is so surprising, I shall tell you people something. Almost every Sunday, when I am in city, I will follow my aunt to an Indian Bhajan (chanting session). When I first arrived in Aus, I was surprised to see there are some Aussie in the Bhajan, don't even mention they can sing the indian chanting better than I do. Back to the Dalai Lama teaching, in the stadium, it was dominated by two third of Aussie, with BLOND hair. Local Aussie, I do not mean Asian Aussie, came all the way from Adelaide. They even wrote down every single deep teachings that I myself (a Buddhist) could not understand and half asleep.... Hehehehehe. Not a good Buddhist ay?

Yeah, then when I was chatting with my Ammie, she was saying world is mixing. Yeah, true. Asian following Westerner religions (Christianity), while the Westerner (including the Aussie) follow Asian religions! Any religion is better than no religion at all. Dalai Lama did stress that religion is very important even in this century.

Disclaimer: I am not prejudising about other religions. I have no right to do that. So please regard this entry of this idiot as craps.

Mary, lab assistant

One of the receptionist, at the main reception

Gown Day Part I

Food of the Day: Belacan Kangkung

1st of June; The beginning of winter, but the end of my undergraduate. AND my GOWN DAY. Been waiting for that, one semester ago.... Okay, those who are not from Gippy, and got intimated/threaten (kiasu(s))/ etc etc, might not know what is that about.

Gown Day is the day where international student (only international student), get to wear their graduation gown (not any normal gown) and take heaps of picture everywhere in the campus. Of course they will charge us with the gown. Only $5 for rental of gown, and rather expensive studio price.... Well once in a lifetime, should not be so stingy.
There are heaps more picture I've not get from my Best Ke-Le-Feh (sidekick). Other pictures were posted in my friendster. Just nibbles on these at the moment.
Now I give you the Science Faculty Graduands! Ops, Neema was blocked by the lady in red.....

One of the places that I rarely go, but feel like taking infront of it. Hhehehehe: The Library, duh. Such a big word stating above us

The science undergraduates; graduands and non-graduands.

The groupie photos, mine will post it separately in the next entry, with proud!!!!!hehehe

Cant get the best hat throwing picture this sem. Sad....... but if you want the video, can always get it from me.

In front of the Binishell, which might be demolish next year..... This is the only one standing in Southern Hemisphere. Soon, there will be none. How they built that? It is like building a mask with a balloon. First they pump air into a big big balloon, then they put cement onto it.

The End of this Gown Day Part One. See you guys later. With love from this yellow-green riding hood guy. hehehehe

Acknowledgement:

I was reading one of my high-schoolmates blog, and he was talking about Amsterdam; where all they did is eating space cake/magic cake and smoke joints and the ever famous red district. Sound like a good life to me. But I won't do thaose stuffs, thanksfully. I rather go for mud cakes and non-smoking restaurants. hehehehehe.
