Thank You

I did not abandon my blog, okay. I was merely damn busy to update. Why so? These days I am really busy with my Honours. Going to graduate soon; here comes the thesis writings, endless laboratory trials, and spent the rest of my free time in gym or swimming pool. I was stressed inside out, stress can be excreted through my sweat pores into the environment...... So I go for gym, to release stress. Which proved to be a very good option!

I should post these up soon. But being a busy person, it took me 3 weeks later to post them up. As some of you guys know, I have finally moved out of residential. No more DC++, no more JJ (some of you will know what is that), no more 5 minutes walk to campus. But, at the same time, I met and become closed to a whole new group of awesome people! Hang out with them, playing monopoly until late, etc etc.

Back to my house, when I first came in, the house looked terrible. But I am not a person who particularly fuss with cleanliness. I can live in a place that looks like a dump, but give me a good bed and nice room, I dont mind! On the third day of CNY, Wing Sze came and cleaned my house, while I sat there being useless. Really need to thank her and her work, now it looks sparkling clean! She even squat down to scrub the floor tiles until they are squeaky clean, and caught cold the next day. This is the kitchen table, before the operation

This is the table after the operation

The janitor was quite happy with her work! Hahahaha

And lastly I wanna shout out for my friend, who is so dearly that she sent me a postcard with CNY wishes! It reaches on my doorstep the day before CNY. How nice!!!!! Till this date, the card is still sitting on my bedside table. I couldnt find a good place to stick it up. So it should sit there till I find a good spot.

I have heaps of movies in my harddisc, but I cant find the time to watch them......

Food Testing

I was doing an experiment on my food yesterday. Testing my fridge foods with subject being myself.

Case Study
The cabbage turns moldy over the cut-edge. Presumptive mold is Aspergillus sp. This is because Aspergillus can break down high carbohydrates from the cabbage and they presented in atmosphere. When the cabbage was cut, it may come in contact with the mold's spores.

But the thing is I was craving for cabbage. But we should not eat anything that is moldy, because we known fungi can grow almost every corner of the foods, just that we don't see it (Schliephake, 2007). So I was standing there and pondering. Here comes the objective; eat the cabbage to see whether I will get diarrhoea and prove Schliephake's lecture correct.

Method
The cabbage's edges were cut away. Chopping board was cleansed to prevent cross contamination. Cook the cabbage with carrots for a vegetarians stir fry.

Results
The meal tasted weird. Maybe because of the Chinese rice wine that was added into the stir fry. Watery diarrhoea after 3 hours (acute attack). But the diarrhoea was prevented by immediate consumption of Five Pagoda Medicine. Diarrhoea resided right after, no more water, but soft feaces were produced.

Conclusion and Recommendations
Moldy cabbage is bad. Don't try to eat it even when it appear to be slightly fluffy outside. Cause it will penetrate into the core of the cabbage. Just throw that cabbage away and eat some other veggie instead!

Slang

Okay, I was pretty lazy in blogging these days. I am sorry. Besides it is Chinese New Year and I have yet post anything about CNY. Hahaha. Maybe you should see my another blog MooMooLanders for those pictures of CNY Fest. And the slow speed of photo uploading in my new House is not helping......

Before I start rambling, I wish to greet everyone

Gong Xi Fa Chai
Keong Hee Huat Chai
Kong Hei Fatt Choi
Happy Chinese New Year

Okay, enough of seasonal greetings, I can start my rambling now. Hahaha.

Last month, yeah one month passed that quickly, when I have a good nite sleep! Anyway, I was calling my new landlord about my house, when the call divert me to a voice mail service. Yeah rite, it is a service where an operator will talk to you and ask you what you need instead of you talking idiotically to the silent on the other end.

So, once the lady was speaking on the other end, I actually thought that she is a relative or someone close to David. After she repeated the second time, I caught what she meant. Her Aussie accent was not really strong, and she is definitely not an Indian. I am not being a racist, but most voice operator these days in Aus, are Indians. Indians apart, this operator's accent is alright and I pretty much know the hell she is talking about. The problem was she couldn't catch what I wanted to say on my end......
Okay this is how the conversation goes (Let's call her Operator Penny, you will know what I use this nick later on):

Operator Penny: Hi, this is the voice mail service for David J------s
Me: Huh? David?
Penny: Hi, this is the voice mail service for David, what can I help you?
Me: Oh. I wanted to talk to David (hahaha, how idiotic can I be ay?)
Penny: No (I bet I really got her nerves this time). I am a voice operator for David. Can I leave a message for him? Do you want to leave a name, telephone number and a message for David so that he can call you back?
Me: (Finally get what she meant, hey I never encounter such thing before) Ooooh. Hi, this is Lex, I am the new tenant for Dalpura Court and my mobile is 04xx xxx xxx.
Penny: So Lex as in L. E. X?
Me: Yes
Penny: Mobile number, is 04 x x x x x x x x?
Me: Yes
Penny: and your message will be?
Me: I wanted to talk to David about Dalpura Court Unit 2.
Penny: Huh? about what?
Me: Dalpura Court
Penny: Oooh, Dalpura CouRT (with the emphasis on the "tk" sound)
Me: Yeah, Dalpura CouRT....... (thinking: can't she hear my "tk".......)
Penny: and how do you spell Dalpura? D for donkey? A for amy? L for lex?
Me: Yes
Pen: then B for benny.
Me: (Immediately) No, P for pen
Penny: yes yes, B for ben
Me: (is she trying to get back to me?) No, P for Pen (with the emphasis on sharp "p" sound)
Penny: Ben?
Me: Urgh..... P for Pencil. PENCIL!!!!!

And the line just cut there..... Cause I ran out of credit........ I can't believe that. I spent all my credit on spelling Pen. Pen Pen.......
Luckily David did replied me a few minutes later......

For your information, my Malaysian slang is not as bad as it used to be. I am not boosting, but I can communicate with my local friends pretty well and easy. So I just don't know what happened there......

Pipi

Okay, to make one thing clear. This title is Pipi. But it has nothing to do with cheeks. Pipi in Malay means cheeks. I am not going to talk about cheeks over here. This entry is about Australian Pipi (a bivalves which could be found in the sand, for Malaysian, they call it Lala(s).) It is pronounced as pee.pee, just like in Malay for cheek.

I better tell the whole story right here right now. Last Monday, it was Australian Day. So we thought of doing something more Australian. Not opening a barbie, or get ourselves drunk like babies. We headed to the beach!

It was Venus Bay. I will post that entry in my other blog Moomoolanders, when I grab those photos from Jon and Mel. Anyway, while we were in the beach, we were playing with waves and water, when Chun Yau found pipi which is alive and kicking!

Then I found another on the sand, and there goes the whole Pipi Expedition! All in all, we dug out about 2 bags full of pipi. After making sure we were not violating the law, we brought that 2 bags happily!!!! Mind you, they are completely FREE!!!!!Okay these are some of the photos of pipi and the menu made out of them! The big chef of that day was Yong, and I reckon he did a great job in cooking them!!!!!!

This is only one eighth of the pipi
Cooking those pipi. Yummm!
First dishes: Garlic Pipi with White Wine
Second Dishes: Tomato Pipi with Red Wine. Yum yum!!!
Third Dishes: My favorite, Belachan Pipi!!!!!

Jason getting ready to eat those pipi(s)
Me and Mel already started serving the pasta

Those pipi waste

Then here are some of the famous quotes of THAT day:

Yong: I was just complaining to Mel that I don't get to eat lala (pipi) since I came to Aus. Now I had plenty!
Mel: Are we going to finish those lalas?
Sookie: These are hell a lot of lalas...
Jason: If we want more free pipi, just go back to Venus Bay!
Jon: Are those black stuffs, shit?
Ammie: I can't be bother eating them anymore......
Me (Lex): I want more lalas!!!!! Yumm.

PS, None of us except Yong got diarrhoea after eating those pipi. This means they are safe to eat!

Packing Again

I can't believe, I need to pack and move again. I am a nomad. I don't know when can I stop packing and moving. But apparently this is how I live for the past one and half year. Moving from places to places, rooms to rooms.

I am damn tired with this kind of life. But what can I do? Buy a house? BULLSHIT...

Anyway, after a few months later, I need to move out of the house I am moving into, and maybe back to Melbourne. Then I reckon I still have much moving to do....

If I am at good mood, I might take photos of my new room.

Till then, packing is it......

Steamy Fish

Yesterday I felt the sadness of animals in the zoo. Being looked at and pointed at. Being throwed at with rubbish and foods that is no good for them. That is what I felt last nite. Hahaha. Okay it is not as bad as what I have just described, but it is definitely awkward.

Felt like this, but I am wearing clothes. Definitely. Hahaha. Ps: Picture taken from other blog. Can't remember where I got them. But pretty funny!

After beating around the bush for so damn long. I should have told you guys what was humiliating and embarrassing me.

Wing Sze and I was cooking Chinese steamed fish yesterday, since the day before we brought ourselves two fishes from Midvalley. After cooking, we eat your dinner as usual, outside the common room. But yesterday Dee and Kara's friends came over to stay and party. I reckon Kara is the one who saw the fish first. She was so amazed, that she yelled out for everyone in the house to see our lovely little (big Red Fish) fish. Hahaha... Everyone was looking in awe and amaze by way we eat it. With heads and tails attached.... Dee was the one who looked with a big crotch-hole. It is good she did not break down and cry, since she is a vegetarians because she loves animals too damn much. Hahaha.

On the other hand, we tried to tell everyone that we Asians EAT the fish this way. It is much more fresher and nicer than eating them in flakes. But oh well, this is their culture. Never eat anything that had heads and tails in them.

Chinese steamed fish. I took this picture from another person's blog as well. If you want to know how to cook it, just click over the link.

Scientist Dilemma

I did not go to lab for my Honours nor my work. This is because I am sick.... Caught a common cold again. I have been sick for the 2nd time, ever since I came to Aus. I don't understand why, for the first one and half year, I barely have any sickness. Now I need to see the doctor every other days.....

Well since today is about sickness and science. I felt, after studied 10 years of science (5 years of high school science, 1 years of A-levels science and 4 years of university science), one will heighten his/her awareness on paranoid sickness. But eating medicines is our only hope?
I am no medicine students, so I won't be discussing much on what should we eat and what not.

I am being paranoid on two thing recently. One is my predicted peptic ulcer. Once awhile, I have this extreme stomach sore, a few hours after meals. Sometime I need to drink milo every 1 hour to prevent the soring. I predicted (pretty sure) that it is duodenal ulcer. Went to see a general physician, and have yet get the path-test. The second confirmation test is endoscopy, Eeeeeeek...... It is by putting a tube down your throat and into your stomach to see what it is.

Another paranoia is my itchy lump over the devil's finger. It is very very itchy, and I have been in the sun for quite a few days now. Pretty tanned from that. And I hope I won't be the unlucky bastard with skin cancer cross finger. Well on Friday there will be more testing. If so, I hope by early detection, there will be less likely that it will regrow.

Buddha please with me!

Mouth Taboo

Okay, today I am still not as tired as other days. Since today I did not write my literature review as much as I did most of the days. Past few days, I spend about 6 hours in the office, writing that lit. review, until end of the day, I felt like puking..... This entry I've wanted to write it long time ago. But I am not sure whether people are that open-minded to actually read it. What I am going to write is strictly facts, and those who is still living in denial, please do not read this.
PS. Kids below 12 years old should stop right now! If you have a 12 years old mentality, you should stop right here as well.

What I am going to say?

Some adults stuffs. After staying with the locals for a few months, I realised that they use the F words as common as we use M words (makan). Hahaha. Oh wait, I use Fuck word pretty often as well. Anyway, one day one of my housemate came into my room while I was watching anime. She asked me whether I was masturbating or not. And then the whole house we talking about anime and porns etc etc..... So today I will talk about Masturbation!
Excited? If you felt yucky, please leave now. Who m I kidding? No one will read this blog anyway -------> no comments since.... forever?

From my research from www.gofuckinggoggleit.com;

  • 99% of Guys Masturbate and another 1% are Big FAT Liar
  • Not only that, about 65% of Girls Masturbate too!!! Don't felt offended if you don't. You might be the 35% girls? Hahaha. I am writing this, because some of my friends will shoot me for writing this.
  • So out of 10 guys, 9 or all masturbate; and 6 out of 10 girls masturbate. Wow.
  • The statistic is not finished yet. Kinsey's survey found out that 40% of men and 30% of women in relationships masturbate. How can that be? From 99% to 40%? So there should be 59% of guys are single?
  • But women remained almost the same. Just 6% difference, doesn't make a huge number.
  • Does this means once you get your stigma into someplace wet and wonderful, you will not go out (pun indeed)? And while you have already shove something up that place, might as well continue shoving it when there is no availability. Hahaha
Enough of statistic! Why we masturbate? Tracking back history there are no such obscene activities, or were there? If you have dogs in the house, you will definitely know. DOG do masturbate, humping other objects; Monkeys in the zoo sometime play with their dicks. So those of us who play with dicks are either Dogs or Monkeys? NO F-king Way.

Why so? Some over-conservative people might ask. Okay, this is another list of why We MUST Masturbate:
  • Guys, masturbation prevents prostrate cancer! The more you masturbate, the less chance of you having oversized prostrate and maybe it might burst your lil dickie.
  • Masturbation helps you (both guys and girls) to release stress. Because masturbation induces released of human sex hormones which help us to over come stress!
  • Practice make perfect! Guys you might not want to be a loser and come earlier right? Well practice make perfect! Each partner should practise for a better effect and results. Hahahaha
  • I don't know any other reason. Maybe there is, I might have forgotten. But the three above has already proven well that masturbation is good!
So guys and gals, hurry up and practise! Gals grab what every long-ish and hard, while Guys you know where to grab! Hahahaha. And do I masturbate? I am not a liar, that's it! Hehehehehe

2007 - What A Year

Okay, I finally get my ass working on my blog. It has been awhile. And I have been neglecting my blog for sometime....Besides I just came back from my housemate's birthday party. She is very kind to invite me to her party, although I felt it is pretty dull for me. Since I am the only Asian over there. Came back home after awhile. Hehehehe. Sorry Dee.
Wow. 1 year has passed in a blink of eye, and I don't think I have achieved heaps, even though it does look a lot.
PS. There will be heaps of photos. So just beware.
Of course the year started with me celebrating a new year (2007) with my good friends Wayne and Ammie. I am just too lazy to search those photos from my portable hard disc. So I guess you guys need to just listen to what I said.

Then, it is the trip to Melbourne with Wayne. Taking emotive pictures. Hehehehehe.
The Monash Orientation, where I became peer mentor. Basically helping new international students to get use of Aussie lifestyle and studies.

The Flag day, where I am the Japan's flag barer
Orientation Big Day Out!

Then it will be living with one bunch of awesome guys from all over the place!!!!! How do we celebrate Chap Goh Meh? Of course with our own yee sang!
My crazy party nites. Those nites were so crazy that I dare not show it up over here. Besides I know my some of my reputations have gone down because of them. One thing I dare to say is I stripped. Yes Stripped, when I was totally wasted. Of course I won't give out any other details. Hahahaha.

Look how crazy are everyone over here....

You need to live up with your life rite?

Balls or "prom". Being an international student, means I get to go to such balls, just for International Student (how racist). But of course there will be some locals.

The Malaysian. Oh with a local who happened to be a camslut.

Oh I was singing on stage with Sookie as well. So how is my singing skill? Not very good. Just that I have a very thick face. Heheheh.

Student Residential Association Ball, the time where locals get drunk and party like crazy.

In this year, I have been to heaps more place. All around Victoria. There are more places where I did not have those pictures with me currently.....
Grampians, as you can see, Hendrix was just too excited until he kissed Kelvin.....

Wilson Prom, a very very nice place. I wanted to go there again, when I have the time!

Tulip Farm!!!! Had a good time there as well.

This year is a good year as well. Why? I have finally graduated, that's why! After 3 years of hard work, I've finally graduated, with a good average score!
To celebrate my graduation, I went to Sydney with one bunch of close friends!!!! It was a bloody awesome trip. I bet I gained a few pounds after that trip!

After coming back from Sydney, I finally get to meet up some of my Monash Malaysia's friends. Tj and Nicole happened to be in Melbourne during that time. Oh man, I really had a great time with them!!!!!!! Tj said he will be back middle this year. I hope that he doesn't break his promise, or I will break his "ahem". Hahahaha
Me, Tj and Nicole with Trampoline gelati. I loved them so damn much.

After all that excitements and trips, it is time to study again. Luckily with my results, and my aunt's money, I get to continue studying Honours in environmental microbiology! It was pretty awesome, but research has it downfall sometime. Things just don't go as you wish sometime, y'know.
Me and my Darth Varda's mask.

Okay, there definitely will have Birthdays in this year. There are heaps more birthdays which I did not take picture.
My birthday celebration with my closest group! It was pretty expensive..... approximate $250 for everything...

Then will be my cousin's 18th B'day Yarra River Cruise Dinner with about 60 people. It was pretty cool!
My cousin, his friend who happened to have the same birthday and my uncle and Fat Aunt. They are my family over here in Aus (except the friend, I barely know him. hahaha)
Hiro's Birthday at South 8. It is also Sharon's farewell. How sad.....

Titin's Birthday at Seoul House! Korean foods rock!

Cynthia's Birthday, where we went all out for that. Masks, balloons, and everything!

Being a lala queen, we need to post some lala pictures with her.

Sue-Li's b'day was pretty awesome as well. This time there is dress code. Y' know what is the dress code? Pink clothes. But I guess you guys can hardly see it from here....

Rona's Bday was one of the ass-rocking one! Again there is dress code. Yep, I guess you can tell from here, Formal Dress as dress code!

Like every celebration, there will be ending. This year, more of my friends went back to their hometown for good..... It was kinda sad to bid goodbye to them....
Hendrix's farewell dinner. Can you believe that? Four of them in this picture were no longer in Melbourne... Left Rona and me....

Wan Theng's farewell, at Koko Blacks. Their favorite's place!

At the end of the year, it will be endless End of the Year Parties. I was hired by Australian Sustainable Industry Research Centre (ASIRC) on November as casual worker in the lab. So I get to go to their end of year party on December. But no picture were taken....
The Honours End of the Year/Xmas Party and Outing! It is great to know these bunch of cool guys!!!!! Made my life in my honours not that sucky.
Rona's Melbourne End of the Year Party which happened to be in MCG!!!! The first time I set foot on the ground where all the true blue Aussie sports run (Aussie Rules Football and Cricket). Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Then, Xmas comes faster than I thought. This year my Xmas was celebrated with the same bunch of friends!
At Rona's house, From Left to Right: Rona, Chandra, Cynthia, Me and Sue-Li

After dinner, we went for a walk to Federation Square, where there are two clowns, named Hope and Inspiration to give us a nice quiet Xmas countdown!

After we had enough sleep, we went out to have a picnic at Melbourne Botanical Garden for our Xmas lunch!

Karaoke. Yes. I missed karaoke so so much. But that day, I was singing 6 hours straight. Sang the songs that I missed heaps. I even sang Hokkien songs. Hehehehehee. Check out Moomoolander for that.
Once again, I bid 2007 goodbye with another bunch of friends, at Yarra river bank again!!!!! This time Junnie (Jason's girlfriend) came to Aus from UK to celebrate with us.

This year (2008) I will not do any new year resolution, since most of them don't work out the way I want them to be...... But 2007 definitely a good year for me. I had the best time ever, but I like to thanks to these bunch of friends who make it happened. Without you guys, 2007 will not be as awesome as it was!!!!!

Orgy

Yes. You get my title alrite. This morning I went to an awesome public orgy. For those of you who doesn't know what is orgy, please google it before continue this entry.

Today when I detached from my friend's group to this orgy event, it was pretty rough even in the entrance! Huge crowds and they were from different corner of this world! Like any normal happening events, there will be bouncer at the main gate and prepare to bounce on anyone who looked suspicious. I have been there a few times before, so I know the place on the tip of my fingers. Right from the entrance, I walked into a narrow isle into the main orgy hall. There were a few people going out already, but of course people who are going in outnumbered the people leaving the party.

Once in the main orgy hall, the scenes kinda freaked me out. Underwear are lying everywhere, and bath-robes hanging on the stand ruggedly. In the beginning I tried to watch out for those belongings when I was walking through the hall, but after awhile, I no longer give a damn. After all, they are not mine.. There were signs everywhere on the wall, with people on every corner. People have already started their foreplay long before I come in. Touching and caressing their privates, stroking each other's outer layer to choose and compare. Plastics were scattered on the ground near the foreplay party corner.

After having a bit of foreplay myself, I went for the main course. What a fine pun. As it is an orgy, of course there have to be one or two main character in the party. Today was Remy and Godzle. Long queue of guys were waiting impatient on each sides. I even saw some gals in the queue, they could be lesbian. Of course there are still heaps of people going on with their foreplay. But they are none of my concern, Remy and/or Godzle are my priority.

Finally I reach to the end of the queue. Godzle serves me, thank god! No offense Remy, but she is kinda old, I am not sure she can handle me that well or not. I sprinkle some of my fruits to Godzle, wrapping and have a bit of chat. Then before I know it, I was pushed off by another guy who is waiting impatiently for the line to end. These youngster, always try to rush this good party......

After that, all I have to do is go back to my friend's outing, but as always I need to undergo an whole-body check, fearing I bring any illegals out.

Well guys, this is my orgy experience! My Orgy at Myer Department Store Underwear Section! Don't you think of anything funny. Okay?

Third Time is a Charm

I was pretty happy yesterday! Three good events happening on that single day! The first thing: My method for Hexadecane sample analysis worked with the standards! So there are something for me to look after, after the New Year!!!!! The second thing: My iPod Classic finally arrived! And it is in good conditions and all. I will further explain it in details. And the last thing: Xmas dinner and outing with Honours coursemates!

They make it on Monday, because Laura still have a defense on that morning. So the night is the time she finally get to enjoy herself for good!!!! We began the outing by having a nice dinner at Angelina's. It is Christmas!!! With a Christmas tree and candle!
The dinner was okay. Not that it is a rip off, and it that fantastically nice either. I've got a Homer Simpson's mug from Laura and a bottle of wine from Micheal! I love that mug, anyway I am a big fans of Homer Simpsons!!!!! (might post that mug soon).

The Honours Office occupants! Except Royce. From Left: Laura, Me, Micheal, Royce and Jacinta.

After dinner, we were too free, so we had a photo-taking frenzy. Took photos like crazy, from different cameras. I thought I will be the only one who brought along a camera, instead Micheal, Andre, and Jacinta did brought along theirs too.

After the dinner, we were planning to go for a show. But none of the movie were any good at that time. Instead of going to Laura's place for a movie marathon, we went for bowling.
It was nice, after how many years of absence on the bowling track.

The balls.

Royce showing his Turkey strike, while Laura waiting to clear the gutter.

Jacinta giving out a shriek when she got a spare.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Next is my ipod classic!!!! My wife, My baby!!!!
Ipod Classic, Silver, 80Gb

She finally arrived! I was so desperate to have it, that I walk all the way to Jason's place to grab my baby. Yep, it was sent to Jason place, because he helped me to buy using his card. Came back, straight away charged for 3 hours. It wasn't that expensive to buy it from Apple website, just A$350 while Ipod nano is about A$200. Isn't it crazy? With extra 150 bucks, you can get extra 76Gb. And of course I will buy the bigger space one. After coming back from the outing, I went straight to my room to grab a few photos of this beauty!

I have it engraved for free! Too bad you can't see it. Well if you really want to know what is the engrave, come and ask me when I was listening to it!!!!! Now, it is still too delicate, that I dare not use it as often. I scare that I might make a scar or mark on the mirror back or the cliche front. I am going to buy a case for that! And I am ready to roll with my ipod!!!!!
