Sorry for being a bum. I haven't been updating my blog these days; unlike 1 year ago, where I will update them 3 times a week..... The Honours has struck me so hard, I have no time for other useless stuffs...... Besides doing my workload and my paperwork (they are not assignments anymore, so I reckon I should call literature review and graphs paperwork), I spend most of the time relaxing. In the house! Hahahaha. Honours really can bring an introvert out of an extrovert.... I just want to sit on my big fat ass and watch some funny shit sitcoms and movies. But of course, I will definitely exercise. Hehehehe. Oh no..... I miss my swimming session today. Oh well, more fat asses to come......
Speaking of fat, I would like to raise a question. Obesity in Aus is a boom, or should I say a trend. Few months ago (should be few months) when I was eating KFC in Morwell, I saw a family having their good time in the table next to us. What so big deal about that? Can't a family eat in a fast food junction? Let me break it down to you! They have a baby, maybe less than 1 year old, and they were feeding him with DEEP-FRIED WEDGES and SMASH POTATO...... Argh, so starchy and oily...... Of course those tasted better than the goo-ie babies food......Come on guys, Babies should not be fed with deep fried wedges....... Hahaha. Maybe I come from a family where my mother will forbid me eating anything unhealthy, and if possible no oil at all.... Over here, none of the fast-food joint or any cafeteria will supply free ketchup. WHY? Cause the whole box (in tonne) will finish within a day, they just eat ketchup like drinking water.
Then it comes to one of my friend which I shan't name. After 2 to 3 weeks of absence (I don't get to see people very much, cause I was hiding in my lab), he had grown (horizontally)....... His new hair cut didn't help much, instead worsen the effects. Hahahaha. Then I was wondering, what makes a thin person, to grow like the size of a bear? 10kg in a few weeks. Hehehehehehe. I guess with all those starchy, creamy and the fast food joint, even a thin person will prone to be an obese when you don't watch what you eat. Or maybe the friend of mine are having a good life. This is what the Chinese will say...... Hahahaha.
Enough of fat foods. I am going to have my pie lunch! Maybe with some fat ass baked wedges. Oooooooh noooo. I missed my swimming session.... Here comes the double chin and extra spare tyre. Hahahaha

Cancer (My Last Respect)
No, it is not about the horoscope Cancer..... Well, listen to the whole story will yah.... Today I lost one of my cousin, to cancer. Yep, the disease cancer..... Too bad I can not go back to Penang, or at Penang to pay my last respect to her.
I am not very close to her actually. She live at the Wellesley Province, while I live in Penang Island. So I rarely get to see her. She is about 20 years old elder than me (so is most of my cousin), so we have less common ground. Besides she is always away giving tuitions to other students. The time that I get to see and talk to her is during Chinese New Year. When she is not giving tuition classes and at around the house. From what I've recalled, she was alone all the time. Don't remember she got married (Leong's curse: Every Leong is kinda curse to be single). She worked very hard to earn a decent (or maybe rather huge amount) of money. Staying indoors, in air-conditioned room to give tuition classes (Malaysian's terminology for extra classes besides school classes). And you think cancer is only caused by excess interaction with any radioactive.....
4 months ago, when my mom told me that she was diagnosed with cancer, I was quite shock. I was rather worry. But after my mom's visit, she told me that my cousin looked fine. After that, she was allowed to go back home. I thought she can win this fight. But alas, today, she lost the battle.
I could not write any further.
So this will be my last respect to you Ah Khum Piew Cheh:
Sorry I did not make any efforts to get to know you well. But I hope you can read this wherever you are. May you rest in peace.

Homemade Hokkien Mee
I am very sorry for the late update. Ben Ben was too busy to upload the pictures, so I can't get the pictures and I was also kinda lazy to blog..... Okay okay, since that day was Tuesday, with no apparent reasons, we (Ben Ben, Shing Jia and me) decided to cook something good and spicy! And because I've brought the sauce for Hokkien (Prawn) noodles, we decided to make our own Hokkien noodles!!!!! It tasted not bad! But it is not spicy enough. Next time need to put more sauce, to make it super duper tangy and spicy!
Well this is a good thing being in Australia. All the ingredients inside this dish are from either Great Eastern or Laguna Asian Groceries in Melbourne!!!!! When some of my friends have to buy the whole box of Malaysian sauces when they go oversea, I can just buy them after 2 hours of train! 2 hours is still a lot to me. I really hope Laguna or Great Eastern will open a branch over here......
Okay back to the Hokkien Noodles! In the noodles, what I used!
OMF--kinG..... I felt so domestic........

- Egg
- PRAWNS (need to thank Ben, if not he will come in and scold me for that....)
- and the secret ingredient sauce!

Locked! =.=
Okay, it has been awhile since I blogged on this site. I have another blog that I also contributed,MooMooLanders. Well, need to write something on this blog. If not, soon it will be a useless website. Hehehehe. Don't have my blogging bug with me, and Miss Poison Ivy keep on talking to me through msn......
Oh, about the title above, it is a funny incident. Hahahaha. I was alone in the Environmental (Back) Lab, as always. I went to the storage room at the back of the Back lab (sounded weird) to grab some more petri dishes. Unknown to me, the door was set to lock position..... And BANG, I was locked in the store rooms...... Along with some mushrooms and feather collectors..... Just that day, I was thinking whether I will be "quarantined" in that room. Suddenly panic got to me, I have no mobile with me cause it is in the office. Luckily I have the key with me! So I thought.... That key can't open that store room door, after trying hard to jam my key into the lock...... Then, just when I was about to bang the door until it opens, I realised that the storage room is connected to another back room of the Chemistry lab, and the door is not locked! And my key is compatible to the lock of the Chem lab!!!!!!
But because I was locked in that room, only I found some stuffs which is of use for my project!!!! So what do you reckon? Good coincident? or faith that brings me to that stuffs?!
Past few days, I was pretty happy; throughout the days. No particular reasons. Maybe someone put some dope into my foods..... I managed to get a Hokkien noodles (Prawn noodles) sauce, that tasted just like the Hokkien noodles from the hawker!!!!!! I am going to cook that tomorrow, and this time I am going to take the photos of that!!!!! Wait for the next entry!!!!! That's why staying in Australia is so damn good, where getting Asian groceries is not like spotting a kangaroo in the city! You can always get bak kut teh (imported from Malaysia) sachets in every single Asian groceries shops!!!!! But of course, you'll need to cook yourself........
PS: There is no wild animals (like kangaroos) in the city. The only wild animals you can find in Melbourne are the raven-look-a-like-gothic-people! Hahahaha.

Weekend in Melbourne (Again)
Yep, it is another weekend in the big smoke! I went down to city for repetitive 2 weeks already.... I definitely won't go down again this weekend. I need my rest. I need to wake up late and go for a swim and lay at home and do nothing on Fridays nite........
Anyway, I went down to city last weekend was due to several important stuffs. First thing, on 31st of August, Friday nite, I rush down to city because of my cousin's Birthday party. No, I am not going to city just to celebrate Merdeka Day..... Well, those who stayed with me or most of my friends, have been listening about this party until their ears sore. Hehehehehe. I just couldn't wait for that party! The nite went pretty well; about 50 of his friends turn out. Although I don't know any of his friends, that doesn't stop me from having a good time! Have had a 'moving' dinner along the river that passes through the lovely Melbourne city, we were dinning like Kings!
Can you tell which is my cousin? The one standing behind me! Others are his friends, no idea who are they. Hahaha
Then on Saturday, I went out for a shopping frenzies! Brought heaps, but without using any penny out from my wallet, thanks to the 95 dollars Myers gift voucher from Monash! Of course I did use some dough out from my wallet, for groceries that's it! Met up with Rona and Titin, really need to thank Titin for her beautiful handmade stationery cup! Look below. Isn't it beautiful? If you want one as well, order one from Beautiful Miss Titin Christina!
We end up eating Thai foods, because I am sick and tired with Japanese foods. Almost every week I have Japanese foods when I am in the city.... We went to Ying Tai 2 at Lygons Street. The food was 2nd class, but the service is 5th class...... The dishes came after 10 minutes ( a plus for that), but we waited another 10 minutes for our rice and bowls for TomYum. This is one of the scene:
Lex: Hi miss, can we have our rice now?
Waitress A: Okay, just a sec.
~~~~~~~no one came over with our rice......
Rona: Miss, can we have plates and our rice please?
Waitress B: Okay.
After 5 minutes, our plates are here! 5 of them, when there were only three of us.... Given by Waitress A. 1 minutes, Waitress B came up to us with another 3 plates......
Lex: Hi miss, can we really have our rice now? You gave us the plates, without any rice..... Swt*
Waitress A: -No response-
~~~~~~~~no one came over as well....~~~~~~Then the nerve really got me....
Lex: -after walking into the restaurant and ask- Hi, can we have our rice and bowls please?
Waitress A: Oh, yes. Are you with the gals outside in yellow (mentioning Titin)
Lex: Yes!
Waitress A: Okay, we will bring that for you.
Lex: No. I will bring it myself. No worries.
Then only she bloody give us the rice and bowls...... This scenario doesn't end here. No bloody way..... They didn't bring us the water...... Swt swt........
So in conclusion, if you want to eat good thai foods, but don't have the bloody patience,
- DON'T bloody go to Ying Tai 2 at Lygons Strees-
On Sunday, because I need to hand up the documents to the Immigration Department, I stayed back. That night, we feast like King again! This time at Plume in High Point.

Desserts

Monday (Today), I went back to Gippsland like a Chinese Vietnamese refugee..... One big ugly bag for my lappie, 3 bags of groceries... messy hair and pimples, that I swear to god looks like dirts on my faces..... hahahahaha. Okay I am totally knackered now, and I am writing such a f---king long entry........
